DUI Crash Driver, Brian Sergio Moreno, Arrested

VICTORVILLE, CA (November 22, 2021) – Authorities arrested Brian Sergio Moreno after a DUI crash on Ferndale Street.

Crews say the crash took place at about 2:17 p.m. in the area of Ferndale and Tigertail Street.

Involved in the crash were a red Chevy Colorado and a School Bus occupied with 12 kinder-6th Grade students.

Authorities identified Cindy Schindewolf, as the bus driver, and Wendy Villatoro, as the bus monitor. The accident happened just after they completed unloading a set of children.

According to reports, they were getting back on the bus, ready to continue on their regular route. Wendy stated that everything occurred so quickly, and that instead of colliding with the back of the bus, the truck veered and collided with the rear driver’s side corner of the bus.

Further, Moreno, who hit them, kept driving and was all over the place. Following the truck, a UPS driver who heard the disturbance located it parked near a house on Yosemite Street.

Meanwhile, the following day according to booking logs, Brian Sergio Moreno was already released.
