52-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Collision near Northern Avenue

PEORIA, AZ (June 25, 2024)Brian Radford died Monday afternoon, in a motorcycle accident on 75th and Northern Avenue.

Police officers responded to the scene at approximately 12:15 p.m., on June 17th.

Per reports, the driver of a Dodge Caravan was making a left turn onto 75th Avenue when it collided with a motorcyclist. The Dodge then veered into the path of a nearby SUV stopped at the intersection.

Emergency responders arrived and pronounced the motorcycle rider, 52-year-old Radford of Sun City, dead at the scene.

Police confirmed he was wearing his helmet at the time. Officers stated that the drivers of the involved vehicles remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The intersection was closed for several hours before reopening around 5:00 p.m.

An active investigation is ongoing to determine further details. Additional information will be provided once it becomes available.
