52-Year-Old Male Victim Dead after Head-on Collision near Price Road

SOMIS, CA (February 2, 2022) – Friday morning, 52-year-old Brian Mull was fatally struck in a head-on crash on Highway 118.

According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 6:26 a.m., on January 28th.

Initial reports indicated that Mull was driving a GMC Yukon SUV westbound on Highway 118, just east of Price Road. For reasons still under investigation at this time, he crashed head-on into a southbound box truck.

Upon impact, Mull sustained severe injuries before he was later pronounced dead at the scene by medical authorities.

Meanwhile, the 48-year-old truck driver from Los Angeles, suffered minor injuries.

Following the collision, authorities shut down Highway 118 in both directions for cleanup and investigation purposes. At this time, no further information is available regarding the fatal accident.
