3 Hurt in Car Accident near Grasshopper Road

SUSANVILLE, CA (October 11, 2022) – Friday, Brian Madison, David East, and Linda Hancock were injured in a 3-car crash on State Route 139.

The collision happened on October 7th, around 8:13 a.m., near Grasshopper Road.

According to reports, Madison was traveling southbound when his vehicle veered into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with East’s vehicle. Hancock was then unable to avoid the collision and rear-ended East’s vehicle.

Emergency crews arrived shortly after and airlifted 59-year-old Madison to a center in Reno for treatment of chest pains and several cuts. Meanwhile, paramedics transported 68-year-old East to Mercy Medical Center for treatment of broken bones.

In addition, 73-year-old Hancock was taken to Banner Lassen Medical Center for treatment of her broken arm.
