26-Year-Old Rider Killed in Deadly Crash on Newport Avenue

GROVER BEACH, CA (July 20, 2021) – Monday afternoon, Brian Robert Brewer, 26, died in a motorcycle crash in Grover Beach.

The crash took place around 2:30 p.m., at the intersection of North Fourth Street and Newport Avenue, as stated by the report.

First responders arrived and located Brewer suffering from serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

According to authorities, the SUV’s driver was unharmed and cooperated with the investigation.

The collision is being investigated by a regional team of local law enforcement authorities.

Moreover, the surrounding area on North 4th Street and Newport Avenue was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. But, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
