Skybar at Mondrian Los Angeles will feature “Sunset Sounds: Acoustic Sessions,” with  live music every other Thursday starting on Aug. 25. Specialty cocktails from the all-new “Sunset Hour” happy hour menu will be available, as well as $7 Beers, a $12 Aperol Spritz and champagne. Summer Beach Cleanup  will take place on Saturday, Aug. 27 and will be hosted by Happy Hour Tequila Seltzer and Surfrider Foundation Los Angeles Chapter as a part of Happy Hour’s Summer Tour. 

From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Happy Hour will partner with the Surfrider Foundation Los Angeles Chapter for a beach cleanup at Topanga Beach, as a part of Happy Hour’s continuous efforts to provide ‘happy hours’ to their local community.

Chef Ray Garcia will partner with online wine retailer Luckysomm for a night of wine, small bites and live music on asterid’s DTLA patio Thursday, Aug. 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The event will celebrate summer with natural and organic wines from Australia’s Delinquente Wine Co and canned cocktails by Bizzarro Aperitivo, with funk soul beats by DJ Clifton Weaver. There will be Garcia bites including red beet arancini and  Maitake mushrooms on ricotta toast. Tickets are available to purchase on Resy at $45/pp.

KazuNori , The Original Hand Roll Bar has replaced  SUGARFISH in the former Sushi Nozawa space at in Studio City, adding The Nozie to the menu — a new six-hand roll set menu featuring staples like lobster, toro and eel, along with more recent additions  like ankimo, sea bream and yamaimo.

Beachwood Brewing and Distilling, known for its award-winning IPAs, sour beers, and  barbecue, has opened a new location in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach, and has announced plans to branch into distilling, as well as a new pizzeria slated to open later this summer in Huntington Beach and an outdoor taproom opening in September at Second & PCH in Long Beach. The new Bixby Knolls location features a 24-tap tasting room and will be brewing small batches of specialty beers on-site, as well as bringing in brews from its Huntington Beach production facility and Downtown Long Beach brewpub, as well as Belgian-inspired sour beers from The Blendery.
