33-Year-Old Beaumont Man Killed in Train Accident near San Timoteo Canyon Road

REDLANDS, CA (August 26, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon on August 18, Bret Breunig was fatally struck by a train near Alessandro Road.

Per reports, the 33-year-old man from Beaumont was struck as he attempted to jump aboard the moving Union Pacific train.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene around 12:30 p.m.

The surrounding area on Alessandro Road was closed for a brief time. But, the road has since reopened to traffic.

In addition, a GoFundMe page has been set up to help the victim’s family during this difficult time.

At this time, no further information has been released.
