21-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Rollover Collision near Bear Valley Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (April 4, 2022) – A rollover crash claimed the life of 21-year-old Brendon Volk on Amargosa Road last Tuesday.
At about 7:44 p.m., the crash occurred on Amargosa Road between Bear Valley Road and Main Street.
Per reports, Volk was driving a southbound green 2004 GMC Yukon at an unknown speed. For reasons unknown, Volk then veered off the road and flipped over, crashing through a drainage ditch and perimeter fence.
First responders located the vehicle stalled along Amargosa Road. In addition, the impact ejected Volk from the vehicle onto the road. Medics say he succumbed to his injuries around 7:55 p.m.
Emergency crews closed the lanes of Amargosa Road between Bear Valley and Main Street, near Live Oak Street, to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
No further details were made available at this time. Furthermore, an investigation into the fatal rollover crash is currently ongoing.
