Bren Joy Makes the Headlines: Nashville R&B star Bren Joy has released a new single, “Headline,” and a video to go with it. The song, out through Warner, appears to see Joy lamenting lost love. He is in fact anything bit joyful.
“Some flowers on the kitchen sink, I think about you all the time, glasses of wine still stained with your lips from the other night,” Joy sings as he wallows in the memories of the one that got away. Poor guy — he really seems to be suffering.
Meanwhile, the video sees Joy taking a desert road trip as he reminisces. We have to say, the choice of white pants, a white shirt and a light vest for some desert digging is ill-advised.
Still the song is a chill, sweet and infectious summer R&B slammer. Enjoy!
