The good folks behind FYF Fest, which promotes events year-round, have just announced that Animal Collective's Deakin will be adding a second early show to his long since sold-out Sunday gig at the Eagle Rock Center for the Arts.

The 6 p.m. performance will surely sell out too, so don't delay. Buy tickets here, and stay up on further updates via FYF's Twitter.

Still here? Good. It should be noted that New York's Drawlings and the Dublab-affiliated DJ Turquoise Wisdom are playing each gig too.

Also of serious note is the fact that the ArcLight in Hollywood is screening Animal Collective's due-in-June “visual album” ODDSAC on Monday night — at 7 and 9 p.m. — in the Cinerama Dome. The feature-length movie was directed by filmmaker Danny Perez, and it looks positively insane.

Announcements thus far have promised a post-SAC Q&A with Perez and Animal Collective members “TBD.” Bet we know at least one who'll be in attendance. If he's not sleeping off the previous night's double bill, that is.

Check out the batshit trailer for ODDSAC — which may revolve around a wizard whose hair is burning while he attempts to escape flesh-eating zombies — after the jump.
