Brazilian culture danced its way into Los Angeles this past Saturday as the Axe Collective featuring Antics Performance, en'ONE Dance Theater, Afroworks Collective, Abeni, samba N motion, CB youth hip-hop, Ballet Folclorico Do Brasil and Capoeira Batuque, performed a number of dance and capoeira routines. Kids young enough to be in pre-school flipped and cartwheeled for the audience before their experienced mentors (including an actor and MMA fighter) took the floor. The event was sponsored by the Brasil Brasil Cultural Center founded by Mestre Amen Santo in 1989.
