1 Killed in Auto Collision on Sweetwater Road in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ (November 1, 2021) – A motorcycle crash involving a police car claimed the life of Brant Antwon Deshawn Wednesday evening.

The crash occurred just after 6:00 p.m. near 39th Avenue and Sweetwater Road, as per report.

According to authorities, a police officer was driving an SUV and suddenly collided with a dark-colored motorcycle. However, the events leading up to the crash remain unclear.

Deshawn was taken by paramedics to a hospital in severe condition. However, due to the extent of his condition, Deshawn later succumbed to his injuries.

In addition, the Tahoe driver remained unharmed. Although, their identity has not yet been released.

Meanwhile, the crash is still under active investigation.
