Vehicle Collision on Cleghorn Road Left One UPS Driver Dead

CAJON PASS, CA (June 15, 2022) – Saturday evening, a traffic crash on the 15 Freeway claimed the life of 40-year-old Branon Hensley.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on June 11th, around 10:45 p.m. just after Cleghorn Road.

Furthermore, the investigators said Hensley drove a UPS semi along 15 Freeway when he lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons.

As a result, he struck the right shoulder of an embankment, ejecting him into the traffic lanes.

Afterward, a passing semi-tractor trailer struck him while he was laying in the roadway.

Unfortunately, the San Bernardino County Fire Department declared 40-year-old Hensley dead at the scene despite their life-saving efforts.

Meanwhile, the semi-tractor driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

San Bernardino County officials continue to investigate the Cajon Pass collision.
