Amaya Hernandez in Critical Condition after Fatal Accident on Dover Avenue

KINGS COUNTY, CA (July 5, 2023) – Saturday night, a motorcycle collision claimed the life of Brandon Moreno and left Amaya Hernandez injured. The incident happened on May 27th, officers responded to the area of Highway 43 and Dover Avenue, just north of Hanford, involving a motorcycle-vehicle crash. According to reports, Moreno and Hernandez were traveling south on a motorcycle southbound on Highway 43. There, a vehicle attempted to pass a truck traveling ahead of them and the vehicle struck Moreno and Hernandez. The collision caused Moreno and Hernandez to sustain serious injuries. Emergency crews arrived shortly after and transported the couple to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. At the hospital, officials pronounced 23-year-old Brandon Moreno dead due to the extent of his condition. Meanwhile, 23-year-old Amaya Hernandez remains in critical condition.
