Elizabeth Manuel Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash near North Bowman Road

TUCSON, AZ (June 23, 2023) – Tuesday evening, a deadly motorcycle and vehicle collision claimed the life of Brandon Castelhano. The incident happened on May 16th, at around 6:30 p.m., near the intersection of East Edwin Road and North Bowman Road. According to the Arizona DPS, a motorcyclist identified as 24-year-old Castelhano and a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Elizabeth Manuel were involved in the collision. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear. Emergency crews arrived to the site of the collision shortly after. From there, medics transported both Castelhano and Manuel to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained. At the hospital, Castelhano succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead due to the extent of his condition. Meanwhile, Manuel was expected to survive her injuries. No additional information was disclosed and an active investigation is still ongoing.
