Young Boy Injured in Fiery Crash near Foothill Boulevard

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (March 17, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, a young boy sustained injuries in a fiery car accident on Interstate 15.

The incident occurred around 1:06 p.m., along southbound Interstate 15 between Foothill Boulevard and 4th Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a white or silver Toyota Scion Tc and a gray Mitsubishi Lancer were driving at high speeds, when one of the vehicles threw a water bottle.

Moreover, officers temporarily closed the two left lanes for more than an hour. At this time, officials have not provided any further information. However, an active investigation is ongoing.
