Molestation was a family affair in the I.E., authorities allege.

A father, son and the son's wife were arrested in Southern California this week on suspicion of molesting four children who range in age from 3 to 10, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. According to one report, sometimes more than one of them allegedly joined in.

The victims “were subjected to molestation by several family members on a continual basis,” the department alleged in a statement.

Poor kids.

Suspects include Monica Silva, 29, Ronald Hurley Sr., 47, and son Ronald Hurley Jr., 22.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise ID'd the three as a father-son-wife trio.

Junior is a boxer who goes by the name “The San Jacinto Kid,” according to the P-E. The paper stated the molestation went on in the home of the three for about two years.

The father, the P-E says, was convicted of unlawful sex with a minor in 1999.

Sgt. Stephen Mike told the paper that sometimes more than one of the three allegedly joined in:

It wasn't a conjoined effort, but we believe on a couple occasions more than one of them was present.

Sick.

The three were arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 400 block of South State Street in San Jacinto after “… deputies were informed of the abuse by multiple different mandated reporters that the children independently disclosed they were being abused,” according to the sheriff's statement.

The abuse took place at a different location, however, in the 40000 block of Stetson Avenue in Hemet, authorities said.

The trio was booked on suspicion of forcible acts of sexual penetration, lewd acts with a child, and continual sexual abuse, according to the sheriff's department.

Each suspect was being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
