32-Year-Old Oxnard Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run near West Fork Cold Spring Trail
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CA (October 7, 2022) – Thursday evening, Blanca Aguilera died in a hit-and-run on East Mountain Drive.
Deputies responded to the incident around 5:35 a.m., at the 800 block of East Mountain Drive near the West Fork Cold Spring Trail.
Per reports, Aguilera was intentionally hit by the vehicle’s driver. Officers arrived and discovered the woman suffering from serious injuries. Medics immediately transported her to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for further treatment.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, crews later pronounced 32-year-old Aguilera dead at the hospital around 7:44 p.m.
The loved ones of Aguilera set up a GoFundMe page to help with costs during this time.
