Santa Rosa Motorcycle Crash Left Motorcyclist in Critical Condition
SANTA ROSA, CA (August 9, 2021) – Last Tuesday, a motorcycle accident on Santa Rosa Avenue left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
The major collision occurred around 11:45 A.M. at Santa Rosa Avenue and Elsa Drive, according to the reports.
Later on, investigators determined that the motorcyclist approached a southbound Ford SUV attempting to turn left from the center turn lane.
As a result, the motorcycle struck the side of the SUV.
Eventually, the responders arrived and located the rider lying on the roadway, and transported him to a hospital in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the SUV driver remained at the scene unharmed and cooperated with the investigators.
The accident resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes for about two hours.
The Santa Rosa Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the motorcycle crash.
