Just don't overdo it. L.A. area traffic-cop elves will be looking for red-nosed party-goers behind the wheel once again this weekend.
We have the 411 on where they'll be tonight and beyond:
–Tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. the LAPD will have a DUI checkpoint waiting for you at Hollywood Boulevard and Bronson Avenue in Hollywood.
–Tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. the department will also be at Ventura Boulevard and Columbus Avenue in Sherman Oaks.
Additionally, the L.A. County Sheriff's Department says the following communities will see checkpoints tonight as part of the annual Avoid the 100 (as in multi-agency effort), drunk-driving crackdown. Info on exact times and addresses was not disclosed:

–Saturday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. the LAPD has scheduled a checkpoint for Western and Slauson avenues in South L.A.
–Saturday there will be a DUI checkpoint at Laurel Canyon and Victory Boulevards in North Hollywood from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
–Saturday Sheriff's deputies and probation officers will be looking for drunk drivers from 8 p.m. until an undisclosed time at 702 South Citrus Avenue in Covina.
Additionally, the Sheriff's Department listed the following checkpoints and enforcement operations for Saturday:

Checkpoint – Avoid the 100 Multi-Agency City of Huntington Park (Including LAPD)

–Sunday there will be extra patrols on the streets in search of drunk drivers in the LAPD's Eastside Hollenbeck Division area, its north Valley Devonshire Division area and its South L.A. 77th Street Division area.
The Sheriff's Department adds that there will be a DUI patrol in Monrovia on Sunday.
