Traffic Crash Near Bangor Street Left Bicyclist Hospitalized

POMONA, CA (September 30, 2022) – Tuesday evening, a bicyclist was injured following a hit-and-run on Towne Avenue.

Authorities received reports of the incident around 10:50 p.m. near Bangor Street.

According to the Pomona Police Department, a pedestrian was walking in the area when he was struck by a vehicle. The impact of the collision left the pedestrian with serious injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the involved car drove off and failed to render aid to the victim.

Emergency crews responded to the accident shortly after and medics transported a male victim to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

Currently, investigators are working to provide a description of the vehicle and the driver involved in the crash.
