55-Year-Old Bicyclist in Critical Condition After a Crash near North Torrey Pines Road

SAN DIEGO, CA (July 14, 2022) – Saturday morning, a bicyclist was badly hurt after a crash near North Torrey Pines Road.

On July 9, at around 10:30 a.m., police reported to a crash involving a Toyota Rav-4 and a bicyclist.

The driver of the Toyota, a 79-year-old woman, was driving northbound when the bicyclist, a 55-year-old woman, swerved into her vehicle. The impact of the crash caused the bicyclist to fall to the ground. Emergency responders transported her to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. She is reportedly in stable condition.

Additionally, the 79-year-old woman driving the Toyota did not suffer any injuries.
