Bicycle Accident near Camelback Road Left One Hurt
GLENDALE, AZ (April 12, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a collision near 107th Avenue left one bicyclist hospitalized, police said.
The crash occurred near 107th Avenue and Camelback Road, where a black vehicle reportedly had hood damage and a bike was crushed in the center of the roadway.
Eventually, medical crews took the bicyclist to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the vehicle’s two occupants did not sustain any injuries and remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigation.
However, it remains unknown if speed or impairment played a role in the collision at this time.
The crash prompted the closure of Ball Park Boulevard to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, the roadway has since been reopened.
