One Pronounced Dead after Bicycle Accident on Twain Avenue

LAS VEGAS, NV (April 1, 2022) – Sunday evening, a bicyclist was fatally struck in a deadly collision on Nellis Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m., near the intersection of Twain Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.

According to preliminary investigation, the driver of a southbound 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee collided with an eastbound cyclist. However, further events leading up to the incident remain unclear.

Medics arrived and pronounced the 35-year-old bicyclist, from Las Vegas, dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

The surrounding area on Nellis Boulevard was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Jeep remained at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment. At this time, the collision on Nellis Boulevard is still being investigated by the officers.
