Bicyclist Killed in Fatal Accident near Moraga Road
TEMECULA, CA (February 4, 2022) – Friday evening, one bicyclist was fatally struck in a deadly collision on Margarita Road.
According to the preliminary report, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., near Moraga Road.
Crews say the cyclist was riding along Margarita Road and attempted to cross the street, outside the bicycle lane. There, they were struck by a passing vehicle.
Firefighters arrived and attempted to perform first-aid. However, despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene for further investigation.
At this time, authorities have not released the identities of those involved. However, police continue to investigate the deadly bicycle collision on Margarita Road.
