Beyonce Sets Grammy Record: Beyonce won her 32nd career Grammy at the 2023 event on Sunday evening at the Crypto.com Arena, in the process setting the record by beating late conductor Georg Salti’s 31 awards. Her career 88 nominations sees her tying husband Jay-Z in that regard.

However, Beyonce‘s Renaissance was beaten to Album of the Year by Harry Style’s Harry’s House. Lizzo won Record of the Year with About Damn Time, while Bonnie Raitt took Song of the Year with “Just Like That.”

Other winners include Samara Joy (Best New Artist), Adele’s “Easy On Me” (Best Solo Pop Performance), Sam Smith and Kim Petras for “Unholy” (Best Pop Duo/Group Performance), Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi for “Degradation Rules” (Best Metal Performance), and Ozzy Osbourne’s Patient Number 9 (Best Metal Album).

Wet Leg took best Best Alternative Music Performance and Best Alternative Music Album, and Kendrick Lamar won three awards from eight nominations (he took Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song).
