While we were sleeping, robbers pulled off a massive heist at an iconic Beverly Hills jewelry store.

Robbers got away with $1.43 million worth of jewels at Jason Of Beverly Hills inside the Beverly Wilshire Hotel Friday night, cops told the Beverly Hills Courier.

… at 6:50 p.m. Friday, according to the paper:

… A male and female entered the store posing as customers looking at jewelry. When the retail employee opened the jewelry case to let the suspects look, a third suspect appeared brandishing a handgun and demanded jewlery from the retailer.

Police said it was the biggest jewelry heist in the gilded city in recent memory.

It sounds like they're checking security video to see if they can track down the bad guys (and girl).
