Updated at 5:30 p.m. with police now saying suspects were armed.

A Beverly Hills fur store on South Robertson Boulevard was robbed in broad daylight Monday afternoon, Beverly Hills police confirmed to LA Weekly. A sergeant said at least two suspects were armed, but further descriptions were not available.

The robbery was reported about 1 p.m. at Dicker and Dicker of Beverly Hills, 2:15 South Robertson Blvd., according to the Beverly Hills Courier. A police sergeant told LA Weekly that the there was still an “active investigation” in the area. The Courier reported that officers were searching the area for suspects.

Police said the robbers got away but that they still hoped to apprehend them.
