Betty White reportedly died of complications from a stroke suffered six days before her death on December 31, 2021.

According to TMZ, White’s L.A. County death certificate listed a December 25 cerebrovascular accident, as reported by White’s doctor.

White died in her Brentwood home as she stayed close to Los Angeles during the duration of the pandemic.

Reports say that White was coherent after the stroke and died peacefully in her sleep.

After White’s death, she was cremated, with her remains now under possession of her health care directive, Glenn Kaplan.

Betty White died at the age of 99, just weeks before her 100th birthday.

White was best known for her role in the The Golden Girls sitcom, which aired for seven seasons between 1985 and 1992.

Angelenos might know her for her close relationship with the L.A. Zoo and animal organizations.
