Which L.A. Rolling Greens you go to depends on what you're looking for. If you're after a vast selection of pots and plants, go to the original, tucked away up a steep hill near the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook. Its three levels are home to an astonishing range and variety of plants — everything from orchids for your indoor space to trees for outdoors — and containers to hold them, from tiny to humongous. If you're on the lookout for cool, fun, French-ish home decor and garden-themed decorative items, head to the Fairfax District store. It's housed in a repurposed historic building that last held a tire store, and it makes excellent, creative use of the space. At either locale, you'll find classes on topics such as making a terrarium, as well as the Arrangement Bar, where staff will help you create a unique piece. Their website could be more useful, but that's even more motivation to stop by in person. 9528 Jefferson Blvd., Culver City; (310) 559-8656. 7505 Beverly Blvd., Fairfax District, 90036; (323) 934-4500. rollinggreensnursery.com. —Lisa Horowitz
