To find just about every baby and kid product that's recently hit the U.S. market at Kidsland in Koreatown, you'll have to walk through unpleasantly lit passages in a generic high-rise office building at a bustling intersection. Square footage for test-driving strollers is limited compared with some other emporiums targeted at junior's every need, and the sheer amount of stuff can be overwhelming. Kidsland rivals Manhattan retailers when it comes to creative inventory display. But if you want to avoid big-box retail and it's time to upgrade to a booster seat in a hurry, Kidsland will have a bunch crammed into the car-safety section. And chances are the hard-to-find tray adapter for the Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair will be in stock, too, along with a dedicated Thomas train section, bikes, shoes, a full range of nursery furniture, upscale designer duds and more bottles, toys and sippy cups than you can shake a German-made Haba rattle at. 3807 Wilshire Blvd., #100, Koreatown; (213) 487-9090, kidslandusa.com.
