With so many restaurant openings, so much to eat, it's hard to get everywhere you want to go to try new places. We're here to help: LA Weekly's The Essentials event this year features many restaurants from our list of the Best New Restaurants of 2014

The event, which is returning on Sunday, March 8 with a new venue and new lineup for its seventh year, features a stunning list of restaurants (you can see the full list here). But it also includes many of the restaurants from my Best New Restaurants of 2014, including:

Alimento, the inventive new Italian restaurant in Silver Lake from Zach Pollack. Read my review of Alimento here.

Night + Market Song, which delivers mind blowing Thai at its second locate, in Silver Lake. Here's the review of that one.
