Jill Heinrich is a Westside massage therapist and Reiki master practicing at her One Healing studio in Brentwood. But calling her a massage therapist would be like saying Pavarotti was a crooner. Heinrich's work is more than routine massage; through bodywork, she explores the interconnectedness of energy with the body's own healing process, relying on Reiki and what she calls “energetic deep-tissue” massage to remove blockages in chi flow and to help the muscles. It's intensely therapeutic massage, as good for the head as the body.

Heinrich came to the healing arts after eight years in the entertainment industry — so you might say she knows a little bit about people who could use some healing. A graduate of Michigan State University, she is a licensed massage therapist versed in shiatsu, somatic experiencing, energetic deep-tissue bodywork, sports massage and Swedish massage and is also a certified Reiki master. But her true “best” is found in her ability to connect with her clients by personally profiling with them and then tailoring the most suitable form of hands-on work for each client's individual needs. Many of her clients come to her not simply for physical aches and pains but with emotional issues they want to work through, and, with her approaches, she is often able to help with those, too.
