Every Saturday night, Arturo Nazzari, the star of the Fuerza Flamenco dance company (also the lead dancer in Cher’s “Dov’e L’Amor” music video), charms the crowd with his quick feet, long curly hair, intense stare (and revealing low-cut shirt), while his partner, Clarissa Hernandez, clicks her castanets and claps to the beat. Guests sit at candlelit tables and are treated to a three-course meal centered around paella Valencia; the rice is served in a skillet with tender chicken, scallops, shrimp, calamari and chorizo. The audience is encouraged to clap, sing and cheer throughout the “Art of Flamenco” performance, and at the end, volunteers show off their own skills on stage — provided they’ve had enough Sangria.
