Curator Noah Nelson dredges up shows that make you wonder whether they actually exist: A solo show in a bathtub? The Odyssey by bike? Theater in a bar, for just one audience member at a time? Sure, it's sometimes hard to know what'll be great and what'll be a mere gimmick — but that's your job, dear audience member. Nelson, who also hosts a No Proscenium podcast, is shining a light on innovative dramatists who may succeed or fail but are surely helping to make L.A.'s theater scene feel alive.
