Generously poured flights and a satisfying menu are pleasing at any time of day, but frequent Pour Haus Wine Bar in downtown's Warehouse District during its daily 4 to 7 p.m. happy hour and you, too, might be driven to fits of hyperbole. A select glass of red, white or sparkling wine is available for $5, as are assorted menu items, from oxtail tacos to bruschetta. Order the beer on tap (usually local or regional) for $3 a pint. Stay until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and employ your endless capacity for useless information during Action Trivia, or arrive at 3 p.m. on Sunday for Bladder Busters, when the draught beer is $2 — until the first person scrambles to the loo (don't let it be you). Owner Lorena Porras works directly with producers to keep quality high and prices competitive. Though not included in the specials, you might treat yourself to the Papitas Bravas — all future french fries would be forever forsaken if only they were replaced with these tender purple peewee potatoes. 1820 Industrial St., dwntwn.
