Is your inner 75-year-old grandmother feeling neglected? Show her some love at My Doll's House and pick up an unassembled Victorian, or Tudor, or Colonial or Vermont farmhouse. Put it together yourself, if you're feeling crafty and brave. Or have a nice associate from the shop assemble it for you and skip straight to the itty-bitty crystal chandeliers and stamp-sized wood shingles. From wallpaper to gazebos to crocheted bedspreads for creepy little dolls, there are miniatures aplenty here — even a couple of heirloom-quality houses — to ogle and be inspired by. Yes, you can find this stuff cheaper online. But you won't get the invaluable advice of the My Doll's House staffers, who are always keen to discuss the finer points of miniature electrical wiring, say, or the proper way to miter quarter-inch wood molding. They will even make themselves available by phone for your most urgent dollhouse questions. 1218 El Prado Ave., Torrance, 90501. (310) 320-4828, mydollshouse.com. —Gendy Alimurung
