Fix Coffee is a godsend: Its coffee, its booze, its menu, its baked goods and the many (many) electrical outlets it provides, along with free Wi-Fi, for us sun-starved writers who set up camp for the entire day while nursing a single cup of yerba maté (More hot water, please?). The staff never once flashes anyone the stink-eye — there's no attitude here at all. As though this weren't reason enough to hightail it to Fix to get your caffeine and writing on, the shop has recently expanded to include a full-fledged restaurant, complete with salads, sandwiches and Mediterranean yumminess. We may never leave.
