Think of your favorite ice cream flavor. It probably comes in bread pudding form. But Schulzies Bread Pudding on the Venice Boardwalk doesn't just stop at Blessed Banana Split. It has All-American Bacon Maple, Oh-La-La Orange Saffron and Trail Mix Fix, as well as the exclamatory Chai Tea for Me! and Candied Yam, Yes I Am! Not to mention a fine Millie Vanillie Bean. The shop cycles through a whopping 108 bread pudding flavors, so whatever your fancy, it's bound to have something to tickle it — if you go on the right day, of course.

Schulzies serves 10 kinds per day on a rotating basis, which simply means in order to figure out your favorite, you have to go — a lot. But (wo)man can't live on bread pudding alone, so luckily Schulzies also serves a small array of grilled cheese sandwiches to snack on, even if only as an excuse to eat dessert afterward. 827 Ocean Front Walk, Venice.
