Clean, sunlit and airy, stocked with clothing made of materials so soft you can hardly wait to slip them on, Flannel is a shopaholic's dream come true. The Australian-based petite boutique sells clothing primarily from its own line, made only of five signature materials: cool, slippery silk; light, breathable rayon; supple, delicate cotton; linen; and a buttery soft leather that your fingers can't help but wander all over. The single designer who creates the garments uses a rotation of the same Bali-made fabrics to tailor a variety of vogue masterpieces — casual pants, dresses, tops, skirts and sweaters — each more beautiful than the last. With a focus on neutrals, the store is laden with beiges, creams and rosy hues, but those who prefer darker shades will find an elegant array of blacks and deep blues. 1223 Abbot Kinney Blvd., Venice, 90291.
