Dennis RomeroBernie Sanders, the great presidential hope of Subaru drivers everywhere, is coming to Los Angeles today following a raucous road trip to other parts of the West Coast over the weekend.
Black Lives Matter protesters, unhappy with the political response to police shootings of unarmed African-Americans, blocked the Vermont senator from addressing a crowd in Seattle on Saturday.
“Two people disrupted a rally attended by thousands at which I was invited to speak about fighting to protect Social Security and Medicare,” Sanders later said. “I was especially disappointed because on criminal justice reform and the need to fight racism, there is no other candidate for president who will fight harder than me.”
The Democratic candidate seemed to erase that bad press with a massive turnout of supporters in Portland, Oregon. His campaign claims 28,000 people showed up at the Moda Center arena. Would Hillary Clinton draw such love?
Sanders told the crowd his run for the White House was part of a “political revolution” in the United States.

The ultra-lefty, who's in favor of higher taxes on the rich, tuition-free college, criminal-justice reform and other ideas that would make any corporate mogul shiver, is scheduled to helm a rally at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in Exposition Park from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight.
