Pedestrian Crash on 90th Street East Results in Fatality

LITTLEROCK, CA (November 11, 2021) – 85-year-old Benjamin Hernandez died Monday after a pedestrian crash on East Palmdale Boulevard.

The accident happened around 5:00 a.m., at the intersection of 90th Street East and East Palmdale Boulevard.

According to California Highway Patrol, a vehicle collided with Hernandez at the intersection, killing him at the scene. The driver, 37-year-old Edith Vazquez, remained at the scene and cooperated with officials.

Moreover, officers closed the surrounding area for an unknown amount of time for cleaning up and investigation. Although, the road has since reopened.

At this time, police did not release any additional information. However, an active investigation is ongoing.
