Man Killed in Fatal Accident near Balboa Boulevard

NEWPORT BEACH (November 30, 2021) – A motorcycle collision on 34th Street claimed the life of Benjamin Gusenkov Saturday night.

Officers responded to the reports of a motorcyclist down on the road around 7:00 p.m., in the area of 34th Street and Balboa Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers located the man and attempted to perform life-saving maneuvers. However, the man identified by the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office as 25-year-old Benjamin Gusenkov died at the scene.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash require further investigation.
