Ben Harper and Flea (hopefully together, probably not) are confirmed to perform at the Silverlake Conservatory Of Music's fifth annual Halloweenabaloo event at Union Station on the night of October 31, of course. The grand brouhaha exists to raise money for the local music school, and offers (according to a page on the Conservatory's site) “Music. Halloween. Flea. Costumes. El dia de los muertos. Students, teachers. Friends. Family. Food. Life. An auction to end all auctions.” Further artists have yet to be confirmed, but past hooplas, fetes and bacchanals have featured Patti Smith, Roy Hargrove, RHCP, Eddie Vedder, and Metallica among others.

Flea seems to have a particular zeal for the scariest night of the year, as evidenced in this 2006 RHCP Halloween night performance in Cleveland. Flyer after the jump.
