To the list of great things to eat at Grand Central Market, add yet one more: Belcampo Meat Co. just added a Fast Burger to its menu. And it's $5.

The Fast Burger is essentially your ideal burger stand or drive-through burger: a three-ounce patty made with grass-fed beef, melted housemade American cheese, lettuce, tomato, thin slices of onions. That's it. It's simple. It's terrific.

The Fast Burger is a more economical alternative to Belcampo's signature Cheeseburger in most every way: it's less expensive, and you can hold the Fast Burger in one hand whereas the Cheeseburger, with its 5.5-ounce patty, is very much a two-fisted affair. And the Fast Burger's patty is made with beef trim versus the Cheeseburger's premium grind.

Lest Goldilocks feel left out, Belcampo also offers the Fast Burger with a double patty and double cheese for $8. It might be just right.
