Saturday, November 23

Just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, Eataly L.A. is hosting Vino Day on Saturday. You can shop the entire wine store featuring over 1,500 labels of regional Italian wine and spirits at 20 percent off when you purchase six or more bottles. From bold reds and crisp whites to festive bubbles, no bottle is excluded. Even magnums and collectibles from the Riserva Room, as well as Italian spirits are included. Complimentary tastings will be underway all day long throughout the marketplace and expert advice on how to pair  the perfect vino with your Thanksgiving table will also be available.

Tuesday, November 26

To show appreciation for the brave men and women who work tirelessly to keep our beautiful state safe, California Pizza Kitchen offers its gratitude to California firefighters with an invitation to enjoy a complimentary meal from a special menu at all participating California Pizza Kitchen locations in the state of California on Tuesday. The special menu will include a choice of a pizza, pasta or full- size salad and beverage for active or retired California firefighters who arrive in uniform or present other proof of service.

Friday, November 29

Starting Friday and running through December 28, fans of The Office can check in to the Office Holiday Party bar pop-up on Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to midnight at Severance.

Walk-ins are welcome, but reserved tickets are recommended. $20 per person, includes a complimentary cocktail or sparkling wine flight (tax & gratuity included).

For month-long party features:

  • Winter Wonderland of Tacky Office Holiday Dressings: The party planning committee has gone to great lengths to ensure this is the greatest of all holiday parties including a crap ton of lights
  • Classic Movies: Screening classic holiday movies on a 10-foot projection screen.
  • Food and Snacks are available to order from Severance’s menu next door
  • Nightly Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest
  • Desserts: Mini baked Alaska, gourmet ice cream sandwiches, chocolate fondue, French macarons, chocolate fountain (serves 12+), and assorted cookies and cakes

Office Holiday Party

Black Friday shopping deals aren’t exclusive to just retail.  If you’re out in the frenzy on the Third Street Promenade, take a shopping break from the stress of it all and refuel with Black Friday $3 beers all day at The Gallery and SocialEats food halls in Santa Monica. To celebrate the national debut of the chain’s newest meatless burger option, BurgerIM will offer guests a free Impossible Burger with purchase on Black Friday at all 212 BurgerIM locations across the U.S., while supplies last.

Monday, December 2 

In celebration of the life of Joe Miller, chefs Jill Davie, Raphael Lunetta, Josie Le Balch, Neal Fraser, Clark Staub, Josh Gil, Rich Mead, Govind Armstrong, and many more will be cooking up a feast to remember the beloved local chef at The Mar Vista. Chris Keller will be pouring Emanuel Tres and Steve Roberts’ HopSaint Beer will be flowing. The night will be devoted to celebrating the chef and mentor’s outstanding life: Click here for tickets.

Tuesday, December 3

Providence is hosting an exclusive 16-seat whiskey dinner on Tuesday with Heaven Hill alongside Providence’s bar director, Kim Stodel, and Heaven Hill’s whiskey educator Jack Choate. The interactive dinner focuses on the newly revamped Old Fitzgerald lineup, along with  Heaven Hill 27-year barrel proof. Guests will welcome the evening with a Heaven Hill cocktail hand-crafted by Stodel — followed by a 5-course tasting menu by Michael Cimarusti, a whiskey aficionado himself. Choate will educate imbibers on all things Old Fitzgerald and Heaven Hill through a tasting of whiskeys, paired with Cimarusti’s award-winning cuisine. The 5-course pairing dinner is $230 per person (excluding tax and gratuity), and seating is limited to 16 guests for this exclusive event. Reservations can be made by calling (323) 460-4170.
