After a gauntlet of security checkpoints, gatekeepers holding guest lists and velvet ropes, an escalator took revelers to an elevator that then transported them to the rooftop of downtown’s Standard Hotel for DEEP in the Sky on Sunday, June 18. The vibe was much looser once the partiers joined the crowd on the roof. House beats bumped through huge bass speakers, the sun was shining and the colorful mosaic of L.A.'s house- and techno-loving community was a sight to see. Monolink “Live,” Patricio and DEEP founder Marques Wyatt kept the party going from behind the turntables.
