32-Year-Old Woman Dies in Multi-Vehicle Collision near Imperial Highway
LYNWOOD, CA (July 6, 2023) – Early Thursday morning, a multi-car crash claimed the life of Beatriz Rafael. The incident happened on June 1st, at around 1:15 a.m., in the southbound lanes of the 710 Freeway and Imperial Highway. According to reports, a black Jeep struck a center divider on the freeway. As a result, the Jeep collided with multiple vehicles, including a silver Mini Cooper. Emergency crews to the site of the collision pronounced 32-year-old Beatriz Rafael dead at the scene. Meanwhile, all southbound lanes of the freeway were blocked. Crews later reopened them by 5:00 a.m. At this time, officials have not determined the causal factors of the crash. However, more information will be released once it is made public.
