For those still mourning the closure of the 101 Coffee Shop, starting Tuesday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, February 7, some of its signature menu items will be popping up at Little Dom’s in Los Feliz.

Pedalers Fork in Calabasas has been closed for food service during the pandemic, serving only pastries, coffee and breakfast burritos out of their 10 Speed Coffee shop. Starting this Sunday, January 24 they’re opening up for Sunday BBQ and will fire up their Fat Stack Smoker in the back parking lot serving brisket sandwiches, sides and $5 draft beer to-go starting at 10 a.m. (until they sell out) every week. For Super Bowl Sunday, February 7 they’ll also have BBQ packs to go including brisket by the pound, smoked chicken and St. Louis Ribs. Orders must be placed by Tuesday, February 1 at noon for pickup on Sunday, February 7.

Hello Kitty Cafe Truck

Now in its 7th year, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck continues its 2021 West Coast tour by rolling into L.A. at two stops – Torrance: From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Del Amo Fashion Center near P.F. Chang’s this Saturday, January 23, and the pink truck will also be visiting Ontario Mills on Saturday, January 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., near the AMC Theaters.

L.A. fans of Hello Kitty can look forward to new items and limited-edition collectibles, including a new Hello Kitty Cafe Cookie Plush, new hand-decorated cookie sets, sprinkle mugs, madeleine cookie sets, giant Hello Kitty Cafe chef cookies and a Cafe lunchbox.

Lucky’s in Malibu is offering car hop service Wednesday through Friday nights from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. serving cheeseburgers, spicy fried chicken, salmon dinners, ribs, steaks, shakes and cocktails to go and more out of the Malibu Country Mart. Recently opened in December 2020, Lucky’s is the 2nd location of Lucky’s Steakhouse in Montecito.  

Belcampo Meat Co., famous for their sustainable, organic, grass-fed, pasture-raised and certified humane meats, broths and jerkies, is upgrading its restaurant menus at its Santa Monica and West Hollywood locations with a limited-time Molly’s Meatloaf Sando. Created by cookbook author and former Bon Appetit Test Kitchen editor, Molly Baz, the meatloaf sandwich is available at Belcampo restaurants through January 31. The sando starts with a tender-on-the-inside, crispy-on-the-outside slice of spicy Italian meatloaf featuring Belcampo’s spicy Italian sausage, topped with a crunchy fennel basil slaw served on a toasted, garlic-rubbed ciabatta bun with garlic aioli (Keto bun also available).
