Bawl and Chain Fest: Chain Fest is back in Irvine this weekend, with eight bands from the emo/screamo (and all the o’s) end of the rock spectrum joining forces. Jimmy Eat World headline, with Taking Back Sunday also on the bill. Circa Survive are playing songs from Blue Sky Noise, and Cartel from Chroma. Anberlin, Mayday Parade, Envy on the Coast and the Summer Set also play.

Not only that, but according to a press release: “Chain Fest will be donating $0.50 of every ticket sold to the Living The Dream Foundation, a non-profit foundation that helps children and young adults living with life-threatening illnesses stay positive, maintain hope, and appreciate each and every day, regardless of their affliction.”

Bawl and Chain Fest: The event takes place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 23 at FivePoint Amphitheatre.
